25 November 2022 marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, first established on 17 December 1999 by the United Nations General Assembly.
This occasion is the most important time of year to talk, find out about and raise awareness of this phenomenon, which is alarmingly growing every year
The value of diversity, starting with that of gender, is one of the central themes that the FS Group pursues in order to combat any attitude or behaviour that is discriminatory or harmful to the individual.
As a reminder that violence against women is a problem that affects everyone, the FS Group is taking part in this important and highly topical campaign through various initiatives that are aimed both internally and externally to the FS Group.
On 25 November, a Frecciarossa 500 will hit the tracks adorned with a special orange foil. Here are represented men and women united before the signal for help, the international gesture for seeking assistance.
On the same day, as part of the inter-company event 4weeks4inclusion, the FS Group will take part in “Le carte giuste per partire: azioni contro la violenza” (“The right cards to start: actions against violence”). Organised together with Intesa Sanpaolo, this panel is intended to be an occasion for discussing what continues to be an alarming and increasingly complex phenomenon.
The FS Group’s commitment is also confirmed by its internal #iononrestoaguardare campaign, which invites all people in the Group to send in a photo of themselves wearing an orange garment or accessory to show their personal commitment to combating this terrible phenomenon.
Agire, per essere una rete forte.
