We believe that economic development, social inclusion and environmental preservation can only be pursued through good sustainability governance. This is why we have defined and adopted a Sustainability Governance Model for the accountability of which we have entrusted the highest internal governing body, the Board of Directors of FS Italiane. Since 2016 we have had a Group Sustainability Committee, to advise the group’s CEO, guaranteeing the integration of the company’s objectives with a sustainable business model, which provides long term value. In 2021, the Board Committee for Control, Risks and Sustainability was set up to support the assessments and decisions of the Board of Directors in relation to the internal control and risk management system, and the sustainability profiles connected to the Group's activities.
