The FS Group provides innovative startups and SMEs with a new dedicated register.

Thanks to the close collaboration between FS’ Innovation, Ferservizi Purchasing Area – as the FS Group’s integrated service centre – and FSTechnology – FS’ technology company supporting digital innovation – Ferrovie dello Stato can rely on a new, indispensable tool for engaging innovative companies.

The new register, dedicated to startups and SMEs, addresses the need to engage the innovation ecosystem by breaking down barriers and simplifying methods of engagement, in an effective and timely manner.

Unlike other traditional supplier registers, this listing allows for the registration of emerging companies that will be accredited within the Group, free of charge.

To be included in the register, it is first necessary to sign up on the portal then fill out the form indicating compliance with the MISE requirements, information on economic and technical capacity and details of the product classes for which registration is requested.

As part of its innovation activities, the startup register is yet another digital tool that the FS Group has developed, together with InnoStation – the portal through which the FS Group launches open innovation initiatives such as calls for startups, call4ideas, acceleration programmes and so on.

These digital tools, along with the physical network of Innovation Hubs, shall render the process behind innovation in the FS Group even more fluid and effective.
