Environmental Management System (EMS) Certification

In 2013, the Company adopted its Environmental Management System. This tool allows the company to manage its environmental aspects (e.g. emissions, resource consumption, waste production, etc.) in a systematic manner, even through the planning, guidance, and coordination of its operating companies, monitoring the performance levels over time, assessing the risks and opportunities, and ensuring compliance with the relevant regulatory framework.

The certifications obtained over the years, and the recent renewal of the certificate itself (issued following the inspections carried out by the certification body SGS), bear witness to the company’s commitment to the continuous improvement of its environmental performance, in accordance with the commitments undertaken in the Environmental Policy and the established environmental objectives.
