A great team effort for the men and women of FS Security, Ferrovie dello Stato Group's security company, on the occasion of Napoli Calcio's last match at the 'Diego Armando Maradona' stadium and the subsequent Scudetto party on Lungomare Caracciolo.
FS Security personnel in Campania were engaged in intense supervision and ground control activity, with operators constantly present at strategic points in the stations of the Naples Metro Line 2, monitoring thousands of travellers for the Naples-Cagliari match on Friday 23 May 2025 and for the celebrations on the Lungomare Caracciolo promenade in Naples on Monday 26 May 2025.
In total, more than 125,000 passengers on about 1,200 monitored trains were checked, thanks to the work of more than 60 FS Security operators. The activities took place both on board trains and in the main stations areas, and 6,000 people without tickets or behaving inappropriately were removed. In very few cases, the intervention of the police was necessary.
The constant presence of FS Security personnel represents an effective model of vigilance and prevention, confirming FS Group's commitment to the protection of travellers and the management of large events with a high turnout.
