The Digital Summit is one of the most important events in Italy on the topics of innovative training, uniting some 600 participants each year hailing from the major national and European Industrial Groups. The event is characterised by the sharing of case histories that bear witness to the developments implemented by companies operating in the Digital Learning field.
This year for the first time, FS has been awarded the HRC Best Practice Award - Digital Learning, as an example of best practice for “being able to exploit the tracks of classroom training and digital learning, guiding efficiency logics training".
The award enhances the FS Group's commitment in the evolution of its training model and specifically acknowledges the company's ability to have recorded an important acceleration throughout the last year, significantly increasing the digital component and blended formulas. To date, in fact, the entire internal training offering on managerial and behavioural skills is completely blended, combining moments of self-training with experiential training laboratories and self-learning tools.
During the Summit, aspects of digitalisation related to the Rete Ferroviaria Italiana “Technical Academy” project were also illustrated. The project aims to increase the quality and efficiency of the technical-professional training within RFI by establishing an Academy over the next few years, seeing the implementation of a veritable digital ecosystem composed of digital learning content, augmented reality and simulators to encourage experiential learning and the transfer of know-how.
