For the first time hosted in Italy, Hitachi Social Innovation Forum represents a great opportunity to focus on technological innovation in order to find out how it impacts on socio and economic trends in our country.

The event has been attended by high-level representatives at national and international level to deepen future of innovation and analyze the real impact of people’s daily life.

President and CEO of Hitachi, Ldt Toshiaki Higashihara has opened the event. CEO and COO of Ferrovie dello Stato Group Renato Mazzoncini, together with CEO and COO of Rete Ferroviaria Italiana Maurizio Gentile partecipated in the event. 

At Pirelli HangarBicocca in Milan, a 1:1 reproduction of new Rock train is displayed. Hitachi Rail Italy is in chief of the 300 trains to increase the capacity of Trenitalia regional fleet. First trains will run the service starting from 2019.
