Rimini, 8-11 November 2016
To promote integrated, sustainable mobility to protect the environment, in line with European standards, at the General Assembly for the “Green Economy”.
This is the goal of the FS Italiane Group at the twentieth edition of Ecomondo, the International Trade Fair of Material and Energy Recovery and Sustainable Development, scheduled to be held in Rimini from 8 to 11 November 2016.
FS Italiane will be attending with an exhibition space entirely designed with low environmental impact materials and will showcase ideas and projects on the development of “responsible” mobility through the challenges of the sustainable design of infrastructure and integrated mobility to limit emissions, offering incentives for the virtuous practices of “soft tourism”.
There will be two important presentations at the FS Italiane stand: the Group’s 2015 Sustainability Report and the Atlas of Disused Lines, produced by RFI, containing a collection of detailed descriptions of approximately 1,500 km of railway line, along which over 400 stations and thousands of buildings are located.
The FS Italiane Group will take an active part in the Ecomondo fair to help create a platform of knowledge, projects, meetings and workshops with other Italian stakeholders, providing visitors and entrepreneurs with a help desk called the “Table for the promotion of sustainable projects”.
