Engineering
Competence activities related to the planning of interventions regarding the non-instrumental heritage assets of the Group's immovable property. Specifically: the preparation of projects and estimates in respect of maintenance operations; the predisposition of the processing technicians for the tender agreement/supplies; the development of the works carried out and the direction of the works, with the acknowledgment of the fulfilment of legal obligations concerning the management of the construction sites and the fulfilment of typical activities of said role (State of Progress of the Work certifications and accounting records of the works, tests, etc.). The assurance of compliance with the minimum safety and health requirements to be implemented on the construction site, in compliance with the statutory requirements; the project management activity on specific request by the Customers, assuming overall responsibility for the schedules, costs and quality of the project; the engineering assistance required for particular emerging issues for heritage asset development projects or during the carrying out of building management activities.

Follows the planning and estimation activities of routine and extraordinary maintenance on the non-instrumental immovable property assets of the Group, of Project Management and Engineering Assistance.
Building
The professional area of building management supervises all the routine and extraordinary maintenance of the managed property assets, i.e. the property assets of the Ferrovie Group, non-instrumental in railway operations. Specifically, the activities involved include: the planning and designing of interventions; the execution and the inspection of the works; the verification of the maintenance status of goods; the technological and regulatory adaptation of the plants; prompt intervention for extraordinary maintenance; the verification of periodic and extraordinary costs; and the management of utilities

Building Management Activities Officer/Expert for FERSERVIZI
Engages in carrying out the typical activities of planning and estimating immovable property maintenance, both routine and extraordinary; of Project Management and Building Management, as well as that of related facilities. Specifically, the activities involved include: planning and design of the interventions; the execution and the inspection of the works; the verification of the maintenance status of the goods; the technological and regulatory adaptation of the plants; prompt intervention for extraordinary maintenance; the verification of periodic and extraordinary costs; and the management of utilities.
Facility
Competence activities related to the provision of Facility Management services in various areas: residential, logistical support for training and conferences, surveillance, correspondence management, press centres and other office services, management of travel concessions, implementation of a fully integrated service system.
Identifies and proposes processes/products to gain opportunities for improvement; conducts project activities for approved initiatives; guarantees the coordination and the functional management of the activities carried out at the territorial level regarding the services performed within the multi-company buildings (e.g. cleaning, porterage, surveillance, reception and access control, issuance of travel certificates, etc.). Contract services for stay in Ferrotel or replacement facilities and the service of managing press and correspondence centres; processing the company's business plan (regarding locations, customer service activities, assets, know-how, etc.), verifying its implementation in the overall management of the service and preparing business procedures in this area, in accordance with the guidelines and provisions of the Parent Company's Corporate Governance Department.

Facility Employee for FERSERVIZI
Supervises the entire process of supplying the services of office buildings (cleaning services, removals/porter services, licensing centres, supervisory and inspection services) and services for people and businesses (Ferrotel, Training Centres, Mail Centres, Press Centres, Document Management). Specifically, the facility employee deals with the recognition of the client's needs in order to improve the quality of the service as well as to develop new services for the Group and to monitor the service delivery activities by supplying the necessary production/cost data to the functions involved and activating, where necessary, the appropriate corrective actions. The employee manages relationships with companies, services planning, performance audits, quality control of service, resolution of issues related to service delivery.
