On 15 March, in order to mark National Lilac Ribbon Day dedicated to eating disorders, FS Group launched an awareness campaign on a phenomenon that affects over 2.5 million people in Italy. 70% of those who suffer from food and weight related problems are teenagers, and just 10% of them seek help.

 As a socially responsible company, Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane is intent on supporting and offering encouragement to individuals through the dissemination of knowledge and expertise, in order to better tackle issues linked to personal health and wellness. And it does so with a video, which will be shown on board Trenitalia's Frecce trains and at the FRECCIALounge locations in the train stations, and with a webinar titled “National day of nutrition and eating disorders in adolescence”, which is open to all FS Group companies, and is aimed at stimulating dialogue on how to recognise and handle eating disorders.

 Since 2022, FS Group has been collaborating with Never Give Up, a non-profit organisation that was established in 2014 and is operated by a group of professionals out of various Italian and international centres of excellence dedicated to preventing, treating, and researching dietary and eating disorders. For many years, it has been carrying out communication campaigns for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Health, which have been specifically aimed at raising awareness of these issues.
