Rome, 1 September 2025

Actor, dubber and narrator of FS Group's latest commercial, L'emozione di essere italiani, Adriano Giannini has been active in the world of cinema since he was 18. Now, after the success of the ACAB series on Netflix, he is set to close 2025 with two starring films: Breve storia d'amore by Ludovica Rampoldi, and Separazioni by Stefano Chiantini. Giannini responded enthusiastically to these new projects, blending different genres together, because he loves challenges and looks forward to the future with curiosity.

FS Group, which has been turning projects into actions for the past 120 years, outside and inside national borders, is also forward-looking. It is active on the Paris-London line, under the English Channel, to fulfil the promise of a closer Europe. The Torino-Milano route will serve as testing grounds for improved on-board connectivity, in technological, human and cultural terms. Then, with FS Energy, needs becomes strategies, consumption becomes consciousness. A responsible and sustainable approach to resources, in line with the objectives of the Salone della CSR e dell'innovazione sociale, at Milan's Bocconi University from 8 to 10 October, for which FS Group is an institutional partner.

In the month that marks the end of summer, the magazine suggests unusual itineraries that spark curiosity. From south to north, we look for science hidden in Italy’s venues, among rock-cut laboratories, geometrically perfect structures, and roads reminiscent of revolutionary research. And if you are interested in learning more about plant-based cuisine, you can travel to Rome for a plant-based restaurant tour, together with executive chef Davide Leo and food creator Fabiola Di Sotto.

Many interviews with protagonists from the worlds of entertainment, sport and culture: Aurora Leone and Fru, at the helm of Italia's Got Talent, are set to make their live début in the final on 31 October. MotoGP front-runner Marc Marquez gets ready for the San Marino Grand Prix in Misano Adriatico on 14 September. While writer Loredana Lipperini brings together a plurality of voices to address the issue of violence against women in her latest book, Le parole sono uno sciame d'api. And last but not least, Francesco Gabbani, one of the new judges on X Factor, on air from 11 September.

And on an end note, the cultural events. The photographic series Aquila and Brenva by Stefano Cerio, on display in Spoleto until 2 November, prompt reflections on the present. While the shots of Bruno Barbey, Gli Italiani, in Turin until 11 January 2026, recount the different faces of the country in the 1960s.

All this and more in September’s La Freccia, available in digital format on FS Italiane, and in take-away print magazine on Trenitalia Frecce trains, in the FRECCIALounge and in FRECCIAClubs.
