FS Security's Lazio Territorial Unit has been on duty for a few days also at Roma Trastevere station, with the 'Alta Concentrazione’ project, aimed at ensuring greater presence in the area, combating ticket evasion and safeguarding the safety of travellers and operators.
The 'Alta Concentrazione' project, initiated by FS Security - Ferrovie dello Stato Group company specialising in security - in cooperation with the Italian Police and Army, aims to intensify controls both on board trains and in station areas.
Activities at the Roma Trastevere station, which began last week, involved 10 FS Security operators who carried out checks on 5237 travellers, both in the station and on board 111 trains on Thursday 26 June.
The 'Alta Concentrazione' initiative aims to ensure a more efficient flow management, especially at times of high occupancy, and a decrease in incidents related to traveller intemperance, fare evasion and crossing the tracks.
Aim of this initiative - which began in Lazio, at the Roma Tuscolana station - is monitoring both large, medium-sized and small stations, and will continue in the coming months with new stages throughout the country, as part of an ongoing commitment to a safer, more civilised and law-abiding mobility.
