Laura Pausini's talent on the November issue of La Freccia

The star reveals it all during the world tour ending on 31 December in Messina

Rome, 6 November 2024

Laura Pausini, a symbol of Italy in the entire world, is the cover face of the November issue of the La Freccia magazine. The singer-songwriter was the first Italian to win a Grammy Award, and was listed as one of the 25 most influential women of 2024 by the Spanish People. With a career spanning more than 30 years, the star talks her journey: the dark times, her new-found serenity, her role as mother and artist, in between dates on the world tour that will end on 31 December in Messina.

A journey into the world of art and culture is the leit motif of this month’s issue. First stop is the Museo Egizio in Turin, which celebrates 200 years of history, by giving the Ellesiya rock temple back to the community: it can be visited free of charge from 20 November, thanks to the contribution of FS Italiane.

The second stop is the award ceremony of the literature award A/R Andata e racconto. In viaggio con amore, created by FS Group in partnership with the Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino, and aimed at talented first-time authors aged 16 and older. The top-rated stories were those by Flavia Forestieri, Jacopo Milani and Carlo Junior Desgro.

We continue our journey by discovering some of the most unusual places mapped by the Fondazione Italia Patria della Bellezza: from the Horti dell'Almo Collegio Borromeo in Pavia, to the museum dedicated to Antoine De Saint-Exupéry in Alghero. Then we move to Trentino, in the areas awarded by the Destination Sustainability Index at the MHR Tourism Awards, and finish up in the lower Lazio region, on the trail of the first pilgrimage of Saint Philip Neri from Cassino to Gaeta.

There is also space for interviews: Robert Plant talks about his trip by Frecciarossa to the concert venues of the Saving Grace project, inspired by Welsh ballads. Malika Ayane takes a step back to music essentials, with a series of live shows ending in Naples on 3 December. Alessandro Cattelan unveils his next projects, including being the host of Sanremo Giovani.

All this and more in the November issue of La Freccia, available in digital format on FS Italiane and in print on Trenitalia’s Frecce trains, in the FRECCIALounge and in FRECCIAClub.
