The March issue of La Freccia is dedicated to the world of women

Rome, 3 March 2021

A kaleidoscopic jigsaw composed of countless female faces, from which emerges that of Botticelli’s Primavera in the foreground.

The cover of LaFreccia’s March issue is dedicated entirely to the world of women, because not only on 8 March but the entire month is an opportunity to reflect on the condition of all women. Starting with those working in FS Italiane, and the Group’s commitment to inclusion and overcoming gender gaps, to reach entrepreneurs and professionals in information, music, entertainment, TV and culture.

Indeed, various women were interviewed, including: Simona Sala – Director of Rai Radio 1 and GR Rai, protagonist of the feature Medialogando, innovative entrepreneurs Miriam Gualini and Barbara Labate, along with actresses Emanuela Fanelli, Sarah Falanga and Milena Vukotic. Then there are the singers Noemi and Sonya Yoncheva, radio presenter Laura Antonini, street art collective Lediesis, poet Alba Donati and writers Donatella Di Pietrantonio, Vera Gheno, Chiara Valerio and Antonella Lattanzi.

There are, as always, suggestions for travel: in Sicily in the footsteps of women who made the island great, in Procida – recently named the 2022 Italian Capital of Culture, towards the Brenta Dolomites to discover a unique Val di Sole before strolling along the alleys of San Martino in Rio, near Reggio Emilia, to visit the Modateca Deanna, a documentation hub open to designers from all over the world.

This is without forgetting the women’s solidarity projects of Nove Onlus, which has its headquarters in a former Italian Railway Network deposit. Nove Onlus is dedicated to fighting for the emancipation of Afghans, the association against violence Differenza Donna, and Turin’s Colori Vivi community dressmaker offering work to migrants and refugees.

There is also space dedicated to books: Une Histoire Mondiale de Femmes Photographes, mapping 300 photographers from the mid-1800s to the present day, whilst Chanel 3. Memoire Slipcase traces the history of the maison, 50 years after the death of its founder.

The March La Freccia can be browsed and read in digital format, on FS News, and on paper in the FRECCIALounge and FRECCIAClub, each copy cellophaned and personal, for readers to pick up and take away. The contents of FS Italiane’s monthly magazine are also available on the FSNews Telegram channel and the @fsnews_it and @LaFreccia_Mag Twitter profiles.
