City, infrastructure and innovation: on the occasion of the Sustainable Development Festival in Rome: the “Innovazione e mobilità dei cittadini per lo sviluppo urbano sostenibile” (“Innovation and mobility of citizens for sustainable urban development”) conference.
A digital revolution for sustainable cities and mobility with a low environmental impact are the main themes of the day, in line with the Agenda 2030 objectives.
During the panel on “Sustainable Mobility”, Lorenzo Radice, Head of Sustainability for the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane, spoke about the FS Group’s commitment to future mobility in respect of the principles of sustainability, ethics and integrity. His speech focused on the sustainability of shared transport, in particular by rail. Amongst the FS Group strategies, great importance is given to the ongoing dialogue with the stakeholders: through a process of collaboration and sharing, FS is working with the institutions, universities and associations on defining long-term goals (through to 2030 and to 2050) on strategic issues for the Group and the country.
