On 9 July 2019, Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane S.p.A., Trenitalia S.p.A. and Rete Ferroviaria Italiana S.p.A. were admitted by the Revenue Agency to the Cooperative Compliance regime enacted with Legislative Decree no. 128/2015.
Adherence to this regime, which involves the Model of Reference constructed in a logic of full and efficient integration with that already existing of the Appointed Group Manager (Model 262), pointedly testifies to the effectiveness of the initiatives and activities enacted in recent years by the FS Italiane Group overseeing its internal control and risk management system, thus falling within the Group's broader tax strategy, which has always been aimed at reducing exposure to tax risk as much as possible, in the belief that consistent collaboration with the Financial Administration through a transparent and preventive dialogue represents a value for the company.
