The #100ambassadorxFS project gets underway as the first of a cascade of stages in the 2022–2031 Industrial Plan

CEO Luigi Ferraris: “You are our first ambassadors”

Presented today at the Ala Mazzoniana in Roma Termini station was #100ambassadorxFS, the new digital project of the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group. A narrative based on the transversal sharing of stories, faces, passions and emotions to tell the story of the evolution and the new era for one of the main enterprises in the historical, social and economic fabric of Italy.

FS ambassadors and influencers are the mouthpieces for the founding principles of the 2022–2031 Industrial Plan.

At its core, the FS Italiane Group is a great incubator of talent,” confirmed Chair Nicoletta Giadrossi during the meeting with the 80 protagonists of the project. “In this great narrative, we need you to help us translate the complexity of the Plan at the service of people and accompany its dissemination across all of our communication channels.

“You are the first ones tasked with spreading the message that we anticipate,” emphasised FS Group CEO Luigi Ferraris. “We are over 82,000 people and manage 16,800 kilometres of railway lines, crossed by 10,000 trains a day, along with 32,000 kilometres of roads travelled daily by 7 million vehicles. Such figures give us a direct market share in High Speed of 67%, 100% in Intercity and 60% in Regional. These numbers give us great responsibility given that we are the backbone of the country. New challenges await us in creating resilient infrastructure, sustainable mobility and integrated logistics. Today, more than ever, we need to work as a system to meet Italy’s needs, thanks also to the extraordinary people of FS in whom we shall invest more and more in terms of employment and training.”

Massimo Bruno, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, reiterates, “Involving everyone is fundamental given that results are achieved together and the current context requires a change of pace.” Luca Torchia, Chief Communications Officer, is also confident, stating, “There is no Business Plan without people who can make it happen, just as there is no communication without ambassadors who can be the spokespeople.”

Rome is just the first stop in a cascade that will traverse all of Italy and even hit some foreign destinations in the coming months. A new time to be ambassadors at the service of Italy.
