Perugia, 11-15 April 2018
Travel, integrated global mobility and media literacy in the digital age; a new way to reach young people. The central themes are digitisation, travel experience, and responsible behavior on trains and buses, common goods, to increase sensitivity against vandalism.
These are the main themes with which the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group participates in the International Journalism Festival in Perugia # ijf18, scheduled from today to Sunday, April 15, 2018.
The FS Group will detail, starting with the youngest, the present and the future of integrated, collective, and shared mobility, designed to develop the country's system and to connect people and places to the rest of Europe.
In the Tutti a scuola (Back to School) workshops, organized by the Festival in collaboration with FS Italiane, three days (11-13 April) are dedicated to media literacy and the ability to access, understand, and critically evaluate media, addressing specific issues of rail transport linked to new concepts of collective integrated mobility.
Protagonists of Tutti a scuola will be girls and boys aged six to 18 - elementary, middle, and high school students from all over Italy - a young audience that is increasingly inclined to collective and sustainable mobility.
Starting today until April 15, the FS Italiane Group has set up the kids’ Play Mobility area at Giardini Carducci. This space is designed for children aged 4 to 12 and their parents to discover integrated and sustainable mobility through analogical and digital educational games and activities, and is open from 10.00 to 18.00. Programmable Frecciarossa and bus-shaped robots, a journey through Italy, a space to learn "correct behavior" on board trains, and, finally, an area for souvenir photos with Rock and Pop (new regional trains), Frecciarossa, and Busitalia wearable accessories.
