Returning again this year, strictly via streaming, is the CSR and Social Innovation Exhibition, one of the most anticipated events for those involved in sustainability.
The eighth edition, which will take place on 29 and 30 September, provides a digital platform thanks to which thousands of people will be able to frequent over 80 live events online.
The 14 stops of the CSR and Social Innovation Exhibition, which spent January to June 2020 traversing Italy from north to south, reveals the facets of sustainability, the central theme of this eighth edition.
The focus is even greater this year, in view of citizens being highly attentive to social and environmental issues as a result of the global health crisis.
Energy savings, waste reduction, reusing objects, recycling, responsible mobility and sustainable investment are all small individual gestures that have a positive impact on our planet, as the inheritance of future generations. The future of sustainability will be along several key themes: environment, community, territories, customers, suppliers, investors and employees, with the option to watch the videos at a later date. The remote meetings will focus on some good practices developed by institutions, entities, organisations, companies and individuals.
Giving voice to people, sharing virtuous practices and favouring common paths are the actions that the FS Italiane Group adopts every day for the sustainable development of Italy.
This year, Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane will take part in the initiative, bringing its experience to several not-to-be-missed digital meetings on urban mobility, sustainable bonds, as well as sustainable supply chains, communities and territories.
Lorenzo Radice, Head of Sustainability for the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group, explained to those attending the CSR event how and why sustainable transport is a goal for the country, with data in hand.
