Italy’s “Trans-Siberian” weekend trains return

Following the success of the Snow Trains promoted by Fondazione FS that, between February and March, connected Rome with Sulmona and Roccaraso, there will be new departures of historical trains on the Sulmona-Isernia railway reproducing the weekend formula as of September.

The next appointment on the calendar is set for Sunday 17 November. Starting from Sulmona and passing the Apennines, some of the most evocative places in the Alto Molise territory will be reached, through to the capitals of Isernia and Campobasso.
