To defeat violence against women by supporting the “Violenza sulle donne. Se la riconosci, la combatti” campaign

On the occasion of the International violence against women day, the FS Italiane Group will collaborate with the WeWorld Onlus association to support the “Violenza sulle donne. Se la riconosci, la combatti” (Violence against women. If you recognise it, you fight it) campaign.

The testimonial of the initiative is singer-songwriter Alex Britti. With his new single “Why?” the artists asks why many, too many, women do not report the violence they sustain.

Another partner in the initiative is Grandi Stazioni, a Group company, which has made available the stations of Roma Termini, Firenze Santa Maria Novella and Milano Centrale for 3 brief showcases of the Italian artist on 25th November.

The collaboration with the association includes the “Women’s Help Centre” project, which trains operators of the Rome and Naples Help Centers to develop listening points for women who have been subjected to violence in the help centres at the stations.

The initiative will be communicated on our channels from 23rd to 29th November 2015 through:

  • The distribution of 50,000 theme brochures on-board the Milan-Naples Frecciarossa trains and in the 15 Help Centers;
  • Ads on the Frecciarossa and Frecciargento on-board screens;
  • Ads on the Grandi Stazioni and Centostazioni station screens;
  • An article in the November issue of the magazine “La Freccia”.
