Claudia Cichetti is the Head of the CEO Staff Office at the FS Group, the structure that supports the Chief Executive Officer in setting out the Group’s strategic direction and governance, contributing to the effectiveness of management actions, ensuring the consistency of implementation plans and the quality of decision-making processes, and providing particular support for activities in line with FS Italiane’s institutional, industrial and reputational positioning.

A graduate in Literature from La Sapienza University in Rome with first-class honours and a professional journalist, she began her career in the media sector working for Il Messaggero and Adnkronos. She worked in the press and digital communications department at Formez PA.

Since 2020, she has been working for the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group where she has held various posts in communications, managing the activities of Mercitalia Logistics and serving as Communication Business Partner for RFI and Trenitalia.

Throughout her career, she has developed an understanding of the industrial, operational and business dynamics of the railway sector, contributing to the development of the Group’s key projects and to the positioning of its companies vis-à-vis internal and external stakeholders.

She has focused on Trenitalia’s activities in particular, supporting communications relating to the High-Speed, Intercity and Regional services, as well as initiatives concerning the Group’s staff and passengers, with the aim of strengthening the strategic role of rail transport in Italy.
