Rome, 26 May 2026

Half of the senior management appointments made this year by the FS Group were women, a figure that has risen sharply from the 26% recorded in January 2025 – and one that had already risen to 42% in the following session – reflecting a concrete and consistent approach based on the recognition of skills and a focus on the quality of leadership.

The FS Group reaffirms its commitment to nurturing talent and building a leadership style that is increasingly inclusive, fair and merit-based. In fact, by 2025, the proportion of women in managerial roles within the Group had reached 33%, confirming the evolution of a corporate culture focused on inclusion, professional development and the promotion of diversity as a strategic driver for growth.

“Promoting women’s talent in leadership roles is no mere afterthought. It is a managerial and cultural decision that concerns the quality of our leadership and our ability to recognise merit,” stated Stefano Antonio Donnarumma, the Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of the FS Group. Half of the new executive appointments are women, a tangible result of the Group’s commitment to ensuring equal opportunities for talent to flourish at every stage of their career, by promoting fair access to career paths, training and development. “The transformation of the FS Group certainly hinges on investment, infrastructure, innovation and technology but, above all, on people and the ability to build an inclusive leadership capable of driving change and tackling the challenges of the future.”

The promotion of skills and unique strengths is a central element of the FS Group’s strategy, as it continues its journey of industrial and organisational transformation with the aim of establishing a sustainable leadership model focused on creating value for the country.
