Group FS Italiane, Puglia: next stop summer

30,000 seats per day heading towards the resorts of Valle d’Itria, 15,000 towards Otranto, Torre dell’Orso and the Adriatic coast, and 14,000 seats for Gallipoli, Leuca, Ugento and the Ionian lidos with the hubs of Lecce and Bari for integrated Trenitalia-Ferrovie del Sud Est mobility.

This is the FS Group's summer offering, heading towards Puglia's coastal and inland locations.

Passengers can now travel from Venice to Gallipoli, Trani to Locorotondo, Milan to Alberobello, Brindisi to Otranto, Rome to Leuca, Foggia to Torre dell’Orso on a single ticket. As a family, a couple, in the company of your four-legged friends, with bikes and scooters in tow.

Thanks to the collaboration between Trenitalia and Ferrovie del Sud Est, the Valle d'Itria and Salento will be serviced by new intermodal train + bus Trulli link and Salento link options.

During the summer, 16 Trulli links will operate each day between Bari and Valle d'Itria along with up to 43 Salento links between the Lecce and the Salentine seas, changing at the Bari Centrale and Lecce stations respectively.

Trenitalia Summer Offers

On weekends, Trenitalia offers the Estate Insieme promotion that – at just 49 euro – offers unlimited to travel to any destination for 4 consecutive weekends, between noon Friday and noon Monday. There is also the XL version to for carefree enjoyment every weekend of summer at the price of 149 euro. For families, thanks to the Junior promotion, one child under 15 travels free for every paying adult. For those who setting off to backpack around Italy, Plus3 and Plus5 offer unlimited trips over 3 or 5 days, starting from 40 euro. And, finally, comes a special opportunity reserved for travellers with a train pass – the Viaggia Con Me special. Regional pass holders can travel anywhere, with a special two-for-the-price-of-one ticket.

Tickets can be purchased from trenitalia.com, fseonline.it, via the Trenitalia smartphone and tablet app, from the FSE and Trenitalia ticket offices in the stations, from travel agencies, and outlets operating as part of the Sisal, Lottomatica and Federazione Tabaccai networks.
