The agreement was reached a couple of days ago, at the end of the visit of the Iranian railway delegation, particularly impressed by Laboratorio Ferroviario di Firenze Osmannoro and by Infrastruttura di Roma Portonaccio.

The Iranian railway network currently amounts to 13,000 kilometres and is object of an imposing programme aimed at restructuring and constructing new high-speed lines, for which trains have already been ordered.

Italcertifer has carried out many prestigious railway certifications and project assessments among which: Frecciarossa 1000, Milan’s MM4 underground, Brennero’s Galleria di Base, the Mecca-Medina line in Saudi Arabia, the Rio Tinto network and the Roy Hill  line in Australia, the Ankara Istanbul High-Speed in Turkey.
