Binari d'estate, a month of events dedicated to the Railway of the Temples

Binari d'estate, an August full of events on the Ferrovia dei Templi running from Agrigento Bassa to Porto Empedocle. On Thursday 8 August, one of the most important events will be the historic Festivalle Train from Agrigento Central Station, which will take you to the temple area of Vulcano, where the Music Festival will be held with numerous Jazz and Swing groups, and to the Porto Empedocle Railway Park to attend the presentation of the book "Sud del Sud" (South of the South). On Friday 16 August, departing from Agrigento Centrale, a historic train will take travellers to the Valley of the Temples to attend a theatrical and musical performance accompanied by tastings.

On Saturday 17 August, the Porto Empedocle Railway Park will host Try.in Fest, an event dedicated to live music. You can get to the station of Porto Empedocle by historic train leaving at 8.30 pm from Agrigento Centrale. Another theatre event will take place on Sunday 18 August on board the historic train, departing from Agrigento Centrale at 7 pm and returning at 11.30 pm. On Saturday 24 and Saturday 31 August, departing at 4 pm from Agrigento Centrale station, the Temple Train will discover the wonderful Kolymbetra Garden and the Porto Empedocle Railway Park. Finally, on Saturday 8 September a historic train from Palermo to Porto Empedocle will be dedicated to the memory of Andrea Camilleri.
