Collaborates with the Project Manager for verification and validation activities during technical and project management process approvals, ensuring the necessary support amidst the examination of the technical inquiries proposed by the technical personnel.

Coordination of Investment Projects

Activities related to the supervision and coordination of project Referrals.

Role Examples:

Project Engineer for RFI
Collaborates with the Project Manager to define the general programme of the project for the relevant activities, interfacing with the technical personnel.
Contributes to the analysis of criticalities that will affect the operational development of project activities
Coordinates design activities when projects are not the responsibility of a single technician (e.g. in the presence of more than one technician).

Planning and Control of Investment Activities

Ensures the development of the investment plan/budget and monitors their progress. Plans, schedules and monitors and supervises the entire project implementation process in terms of assigned costs, scheduling and quality. Systematically analyses the progress of each job, verifying the congruity of the project activities and costs, the progress of each job and highlighting the deviations.

Project Controller for RFI
Collaborates with the Project Manager to plan project activities by defining the base line, interfacing with technicians and validating the planning data. Manages the registry data for the project structure. Monitors the progress of the project's activities, schedule, costs and profitability (inspecting its congruence), prepares reports in collaboration with the technicians, compiling summary and forecast data.

Project Controller for ITALFERR
Plans, programmes, monitors and controls the entire project implementation process in terms of assigned costs, scheduling and quality.
Monitors the progress of project activities and costs (controlling their congruence) and prepares reports by compiling the final data, forecasts, and estimates. Systematically analyses the progress of each job by verifying the proper output of the GC/Contract progress report and highlighting deviations.

Investment Planning and Control Analyst for Trenitalia
Deals with the definition and classification of Investments.
Monitors investment projects (gap analysis, scheduling, cost-effectiveness). Prepares the Investment Plan/Budget and supervises authorisations. Carries out reporting on public funding.
