Plans also include an upgrade to the Ciampino station and the Capannelle stop, with improvements to the stop’s services (park-and-ride) as well as to the surrounding road network through the upgrading of the underpass on Via di Capannelle.

The Ciampino–Capannelle project has received partial public funding.
