The Board of Directors of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane, held today under the chairmanship of Tommaso Tanzilli, appointed Gianpiero Strisciuglio as Chief Executive Officer, and also assigned to the new CEO the additional role of General Manager.
The new Chief Executive Officer and General Manager has been granted responsibilities and powers in line with those held by the previous management. The Chairman retains responsibility for internal control and institutional representation.
The new Board of Directors, held its first meeting after the appointment by today’s Shareholders’ Meeting, also includes Pietro Bracco, Franco Fenoglio, Silvia Marzot, Loredana Ricciotti and Daniela Rota.
