Milan, 4 October 2017
A "journey" into marketing with Philip Kotler, professor and guru of strategic marketing, took place on board the Trenitalia Frecciarossa 1000 from Rome to Milan.
The initiative is the result of the synergy between the Philip Kotler Marketing Forum (Milan, 6 and 7 October 2017) and the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane, partner of the event.
After the train journey, the PKMF2017 press conference was held in the Sala Reale of Milan Central station. Speakers included Prof. Philip Kotler; Marco Raspati, CEO of Nexo Corporation and owner of PKMF, and Danilo Gismondi, Information Systems Director at Trenitalia.
The aim of the day was to offer selected passengers (experts, journalists and bloggers) an exclusive experience of PKMF2017 and its main themes.
Trenitalia, a Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group company, also reserved a special promotion for PKMF participants: anyone in possession of a ticket for the event had the opportunity to take advantage of discounts on the train journey to Milan.
"The partnership with FS Italiane ", commented Marco Raspati, CEO of Nexo Corporation and owner of PKMF, "was further supported by the choice of issues in this edition of the Forum dedicated to lean marketing. In fact, mobility 4.0 is one of the economic sectors that we will be looking at on Saturday 7 October in a particular session, reporting on the experiences and virtuous and innovative strategies that are changing the transport scenario, and Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane will be one of the key figures in this session".
"The FS Italiane Group is constantly engaged in creating value for its customers, through the efficient use of resources and a transparent and inclusive approach towards the market. The partnership with Nexo Corporation and attendance at PKFM represent a unique opportunity to investigate some really topical themes, such as lean marketing and mobility 4.0, both of which run throughout the Group's digital transformation strategy," emphasised Danilo Gismondi, Information Systems Director of Trenitalia.
