FS Group supports the Bambino Gesù Children's Hospital

A fundraising campaign has been launched between 24 December 2025 and 9 April 2026 in support of the “Accoglienza” Project, a program to help the families forced to relocate to Rome for their children’s medical treatments, in a concrete manner.

This year, FS Group renews its social commitment by promoting the Fondazione Bambino Gesù, and supporting the fundraising campaign for the “Accoglienza” Project, by concretely helping young patients and their families forced to relocate away from their homes for long periods of time.

Donations can be made from 24 December to 9 April 2026, at Trenitalia authorised self-service ticket machines and on the Fondazione Bambino Gesù website.

The Accoglienza Project responds to the non-clinical needs arising when staying in another city, far away from home: accommodation, meals, transport, psychological support, cultural mediation, language courses, education and daily support.

In 2024, the Accoglienza Project supported 4,351 families, providing more than 100,000 free overnight stays and numerous services indispensable for coping with long periods of hospitalization away from home.

Hospitality has always been a central theme in FS Group's daily actions: a sign of consideration focused on people, a way to care for those struggling in a challenging situation, and accompany them along their journey.

All our journeys begin with a sign of consideration for our travellers, and we would like to extend this consideration to those families who are undertaking a more challenging journey, by offering them our support, closeness and hope.

The Bambino Gesù Children's Hospital is the largest paediatric polyclinic and research centre in Europe, a point of reference for families from all over Italy and more than 90 countries worldwide. Every day, hundreds of children and adolescents face complex treatment paths, often far away from home. Caring for them means also caring for their families, and offering human, educational, cultural and logistical support, beyond medical treatment.
