Florence, 5 July 2021
Arriving by train to the Firenze Santa Maria Novella station, getting on a direct bus and reaching the Amerigo Vespucci airport in 20 minutes is now even easier and more convenient.
Firenze Airlink is the new Trenitalia and Busitalia (FS Italiane Group) service that allows an integrated train + bus ticket to be purchased in a single transaction for any route between the Firenze SMN railway station and the Florentine airport or vice-versa.
Not only does this save time and allow you to best plan your holidays but it is also an additional tool for the many foreign tourists on their inevitable return to Tuscany, having long been in love with this region.
Firenze Airlink is available on all Trenitalia sales channels: the app, self-service and station ticket offices, travel agencies and Tabaccai (tobacco stores that can be identified by a big “T” sign) PUNTOLIS, Mooney and Banca5.
For bookings, simply select Firenze Aeroporto (Florence Airport) as the arrival or departure station. The bus stop is at the Busitalia station adjacent to the Firenze SMN railway terminal.
The cost of the bus service, which cannot be purchased separately from the train ticket, is 6 euro (and free for children up to 4 years of age). No additional fee is charged for luggage.
