A conversation with Michelle Hunziker in the November issue of La Freccia

On the cover is the tireless host, who divides her time between TV and family. Chestnuts, truffles and wine: on a journey through the flavours of the season

From Klimt to Warhol, the great exhibitions of autumn

Rome, 2 November 2021

Ever active, sporty and super social. Michelle Hunziker, on the cover of La Freccia for November, lays bare her life comprised of working on TV, her family and social commitments. The assiduous host, who returns to prime time with the programme All Together Now, accompanies readers through an issue dedicated to the colours and flavours of autumn.

There are many proposals on the journey of discovery of the typical products of the season, with chestnuts from the Roccamonfina - Foce Garigliano Regional Park in the area of Caserta, the white truffle as protagonist of food fairs in Alba, the capital of the Langhe, and Acqualagna, an ancient village in the heart of the region of Le Marche, along with market displays in San Miniato and San Giovanni d’Asso in Tuscany. Not to be overlooked is the wine, at the heart of an itinerary including historical wineries and independent producers.

For those who like to travel on foot, there is the Camino di San Jacopo, stretching 174 kilometres from Florence to Livorno, passing through Pistoia on a trail of art, spirituality and nature. While in Paestum, from 25 to 28 November, delve into history with the Mediterranean Exchange of Archaeological Tourism that welcomes more than 150 exhibitors from 20 countries.

The story of Expo 2020 Dubai continues, where FS is the Gold Sponsor of the Italian Pavilion, marked by an ad-hoc header that unfurls like a green ribbon throughout the magazine. Space is then dedicated to the innumerable variations of Italian know-how, from the traditional processing of the Grenci pipe to the innovative MCM machining centre in Piacenza.

November is also the month of art. Focus is on Rome, with a tour of the innovations that evoke the past at the Colosseum Park and the map of Hybrĭda on the spaces dedicated to the contemporary, through the exhibition on painter Gustav Klimt at Palazzo Braschi. There is an overview of the rest of Italy, with marvellous autumn exhibitions ranging from Claude Monet to Andy Warhol, Titian to Frida Kahlo. Finally, there are interviews with the protagonists of showbiz: the singer-songwriter Mario Venuti and actors Matteo Martari, Barbara Foria and Ivana Lotito.

The November La Freccia can be browsed and read in digital format, on FSnews, and on paper in the FRECCIALounge and FRECCIAClub, each copy cellophaned and personal, for readers to pick up and take away. The contents of FS Italiane’s monthly publication can also be read on the FSNews Telegram channel and the @fsnews_it and @LaFreccia_Mag Twitter profiles.
