Introducing the "App FSNews Radio", the free web app provided by the Gruppo FS Italiane radio, which grants you access from your mobile device to live radio programmes and let's you follow the live updates on train traffic, generalist news, insights regarding the Group FS and the latest music hits.
The application will be officially unveiled this evening at 7.30 p.m. at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, in the Sala Risonanze (resonance room). The event will be really spectacular. The MC (Mistress of Ceremonies) for this evening, in fact, will be impressionist and actress Gabriella Germani.
On stage, the CEO of FS, Renato Mazzoncini, the president of the Fondazione FS, Mauro Moretti, the CEO of RFI, Maurizio Gentile, the president of Trenitalia, Tiziano Onesti, the CEO of Trenitalia, Barbara Morgante, and the director of the National Passenger and High Speed Division of Trenitalia, Gianfranco Battisti.
It will be an occasion to hand out awards to the friends of radio: sports stars, journalists and leaders in the entertainment industry, which in recent years have contributed, with their direct participation, to publicize the FS Italiane's radio to the public at large.
The special "Frecciarossa 1000" award will be given to Carlo Verdone, Massimo Giletti, Tiberio Timperi and Stephan El Shaarawy, the attacking middle fielder/playmaker from the Rome football/soccer team.
The evening will continue with music and special effects, with performances from Neri per Caso, violinist Luvienne and the sand animation show by Silvia Emme.
Since 13 December 2008, FSNews Radio had been the first "on air" web radio station during the grand opening of the Bologna - Milan high speed line.
Every day, 24 hours a day, people can receive updates on railway traffic with "Infomobility" news.
Monday through Friday, the FS world is in live, non-stop, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with previews and interviews, news and trivia from the FS world and the great music hits.
Finally, news columns, feature and special articles dedicated to sustainable travel.
FSNews Radio can be heard in 15 FrecciaClubs of Trenitalia, in more than 400 train stations throughout Italy, and via streaming on fsnews.it.
"App FSNews Radio", has the geolocation feature, providing details in your region. Additionally, by manually setting the other regions, you can receive all the dedicated railway news.
The web radio is also on demand: you can listen to the podcast directories, over and over again, whenever and wherever you want to.
