FS Italiane and La Biennale di Venezia together again for sake of culture

Trenitalia is the event's Official Carrier

Venice, 22 February 2016

It continues and consolidates the collaboration between FS Italiane with La Biennale di Venezia. Also for the 15th International Architecture Exhibition (from 28 May to 27 November 2016) and the 73rd Venice International Film Festival (from 31 August to 10 September 2016) Trenitalia will be the event's Official Carrier and its customers, in possession of Frecce (Arrows) railway tickets to Venice and the special CartaFRECCIA fidelity card, will be able to take particular advantage of any reduction regarding entrance fees.

In order to obtain them, you simply need to show your CartaFRECCIA fidelity card along with your train ticket to exhibition box office personnel.

Trenitalia customers travelling for the purpose of attending La Biennale (the Biennial) events will be able to count on receiving seven pairs of Frecciarossa (Red Arrow) tickets and nine pairs of Frecciargento (Silver Arrow) tickets when travelling between Rome and Venice (Venezia Santa Lucia). However, two pairs of Frecciarossa tickets will connect Milan to the lagoon city, starting from 31 January, in addition to the 14 pairs of Frecciabianca high-speed trains that allow passengers to depart every hour.

Additionally, a Trenitalia-HRS (hotel search) partnership allows you to book your hotel room directly from Trenitalia's homepage. When it comes staying in Venice, HRS offers over 200 hotels of all categories, from a family budget to a luxury one.

Given the agreement renewal with La Biennale di Venezia, FS Italiane confirms its commitment in favour of culture, supporting the organization of major events, alongside internationally renowned institutions.

This is almost a natural vocation for a company that has taken root in the civil and economic fabric of the country for over a century; which now has about 70 thousand employees, and transports 600 million passengers each year, on a railway network that's over 16,700 km - 1,000 of which use high speed trains.
