The project for the merger by incorporation of UM Ferro Srl was approved today by the Rete Ferroviaria Italiana Board of Directors.
RFI thus takes an additional step closer towards the acquisition of the company constituted by Umbria TPL and Mobility SpA, to which the branch of company dedicated to the management of Umbrian regional railway infrastructure will be conferred.
The merger project will then be submitted for approval by the Assembly of Rete Ferroviaria Italiana shareholders, as set out by the process for the successor of RFI in managing the Umbria network.
