FS Sistemi Urbani (FS Italiane Group) unveiled the tender for the sale of lot C1 in Rome Tiburtina and the Venice Mestre station urban regeneration project at the 22nd edition of the International Hotels Investment Forum (IHIF) in Berlin.

IHIF, which ends today, is the most prestigious event in Europe and among the most important worldwide for hospitality sector investment.

"The FS Italiane Group, through FS Sistemi Urbani - highlighted Carlo De Vito, President of FS Sistemi Urbani - is unveiling a series of opportunities for the tourism investor world to build accommodation facilities in the most important Italian cities in close proximity to the main railway stations, which thanks to High Speed, have become real economic activity centres".

In particular, De Vito focused on the significant opportunities that could be offered through development of the Rome Tiburtina C1 lot, a building area allocated for tourism/accommodation and commercial uses currently under tender for sale, and the redevelopment of areas around the Venice Mestre railway station, where a planned urban regeneration operation with Marghera also includes the construction of 14,000 square meters of area allocated for tourism/accommodation and commercial uses.

In addition to B2B meetings and the search for new development opportunities, FS Sistemi Urbani took part in the breakout session “Italy Awakes: How the Largest Untapped Real Estate Pool in Europe is Coming to Market” with Confindustria Alberghi, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Investimenti SGR (Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Group), ICE Agency and Borgo Egnazia on the topic of investment opportunities in the Italian tourism sector.
