EXPO Ferroviaria 2019

From 1 to 3 October 2019, Hall 1 of the Rho Fiera Milano will host the EXPO Ferroviaria 2019, an international event that counts 280 exhibitors for this edition, including the FS Italiane Group. Numerous innovations shall be presented by the major operators throughout the three days of the fair, confirming the attractiveness of the event and the key role that the sector plays in the manufacturing economy. On this occasion, Alstom will debut with the new brand identity of “Mobility by Nature”, presenting its innovative and sustainable mobility solutions, as is the case for Coradia iLint, the world’s first passenger train powered by a hydrogen fuel cell. Hitachi Rail, rather, will bring a full-scale mock-up of the new “Caravaggio” regional train to the event, being destined for highly-frequented lines.

In addition, EXPO Ferroviaria will include an intense programme of conferences, seminars, technical visits and presentations from the exhibitors, intensifying visitors’ experience with significant debates and opinions on technological trends. In particular, it is worth mentioning the FS Italiane conference on the theme of “10 years of Italian High Speed: the evolution of ERTMS from 2009 to today”, scheduled for Tuesday, 1 October at 2:30 pm.
