In October, breast cancer prevention month, the eighth edition of Frecciarosa, the awareness campaign on women's prevention and health promoted by the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group and the non-profit IncontraDonna Onlus Association, and sponsored by the Ministry of Health, is back with the support of Farmindustria.
From Tuesday the 2nd to Wednesday 31st of October, on board some Frecce, regional, and intercity trains and in FrecciaLounge, SalaFreccia, and FrecciaClub, specialists will be available to travellers for consultations, free breast exams, and advice on preventative care.
For the first time, the service will also be extended on board some regional trains in Sardinia.
Furthermore, this year the FS Italiane Group intends to promote, through this women's health initiative, the adoption of a correct lifestyle and to sensitize women on the importance of preventative care. On all the routes adhering to the project, "Health Vademecums" will be distributed.
