Frecciarossa 1000 at Innotrans 2014

The 400 kilometers per hour super train of Europe was disclosed in a world premiere at the Berlin international Fair. 
To welcome the guests the Top Management of Italian FS, the Group CEO Michele Mario Elia, Vincenzo Soprano, Trenitalia CEO and Maurizio Gentile, CEO of  RFI.

The ceremony was attended by Lutz Bertling President and CCO of Bombardier Transportation, and by the two manufacturers, Maurizio Manfellotto AnsaldoBreda CEO and Luigi Corradi Bombardier Transportation Italy CEO.

The Frecciarossa 1000 arrives in Berlin in a composition of 4 cars, the commercial one will be of 8 cars. The composition on display will allow visitors to discover the interior of the super train and enjoy the comfort and the elegance of the equipment that will characterize the Premium, Business and Executive service levels, in addition to the bistro coach, novelty of the Frecciarossa 1000. The final configuration will also include the Standard level.

The Frecciarossa 1000 is now ready to its commercial debut, on the Italian High Speed network, in the spring-summer of 2015, and it's easy to understand that its arrival will consolidate and strengthen the effects achieved in few years in the habits, customs and in the economy of Italy, thanks to the High Speed railway. Travel times among  all the cities reached by the high speed railway will fall further, making the train more competitive compared to the plane, bus and car.
