Programming and Maintenance Management for Rolling Stock
Assures the programming, implementation and control of current maintenance and cleaning based on Business and Production programmes;
Takes care of the reprogramming of the activities by providing the plants involved with indices in terms of revising and capacity allocation/transverse optimisations to ensure compliance with a predetermined set of goals.
Takes advantage of the cost/benefit opportunities of outsourcing/internalisation of specific processes.
Ensures the management of maintenance contracts and rolling stock and plants, verifying and certifying the performances and the application of the relevant contractual rules.
Takes care of reporting and tracking activities by providing support for any corrective actions.
Role Examples:
Voltage Plant Maintenance Manager for TRENITALIA
Defines the need for the consumable material of the plant; Takes care of the pick-up and delivery of rolling stock efficiently in compliance with the scheduled maintenance work and the short-term planning of the maintenance activities. Recognizes and inspects the proper execution of maintenance operations, operational management of assigned staff and of Plant in compliance with standards and regulations in accordance with quality standards, productivity and assigned cost-effectiveness procedures, monitors the performance of assigned personnel, evaluates deviations and implements corrective actions.
Maintenance Programmer for TRENITALIA
Processes the reports required to define the volumes and the timetable of entry for the requests for rolling stock to be maintained in compliance with the delivery of the defined products/services.
Railway Tracks Maintenance and Civil Engineering Works
Maintenance of railway equipment, buildings and works of art; planning and management of augmentation works and of the renewal of civil and infrastructural works.
Role Examples:
Plant Manager for RFI
Is responsible for the protection and maintenance of railway equipment, buildings and works of art in order to ensure the safe and regular movement of trains and the protection of the railway heritage assets.
Designer for RFI
Plans the work of enhancing and renewing civil and infrastructural works; carries out technical-economic feasibility studies for new projects.
Works Director for RFI
Is responsible for the proper execution of works for the upgrading and renovation of civil and infrastructural works in compliance with current safety regulations.
Technological Systems Maintenance
Ensures the routine maintenance of technological systems, gets involved in the efficiency of the manufacturing processes, contributing to the optimisation of the life cycle of the rolling stock. Is responsible for the definitions of spare parts and consumables for the maintenance activities of the Workshop. Takes care of the planning and management work of the augmentation and renewal of the facilities.

Plant Technologies Maintenance Coordinator for TRENITALIA
Coordinates routine and extraordinary maintenance on facilities and work equipment; supervises the proper provision of services for the smooth operation of the production site (energy, water, plant maintenance).
Plant Manager for RFI
Is responsible for the protection and maintenance of Technologies in order to ensure the safe and regular movement of trains and the protection of railway heritage assets.
Works Director for RFI
Is responsible for the correct execution of works for the upgrading and renewal of Technological Systems in compliance with current safety regulations.
