  • The ice skater gets ready to chronicle the Olympics on TV
  • FS Group is Mobility Premium Partner of Milano Cortina 2026
  • In Rome and Milan for Valentine's Day, then in Turin for chocolate
  • Interviews with Kristian Ghedina, Gabriele Muccino, Nicola Savino, Ditonellapiaga, Topo Gigio

Rome, 2 February 2026

Legendary figure skater Carolina Kostner survived different times and generations, with her gold at the 2012 World Championships and a bronze medal at the Sochi 2014 Olympics. And now she is back on the ice rink as commentator on Eurosport, HBO Max and discovery+ platforms, for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, from 6 to 22 February. She will be joined by Kristian Ghedina, 1990s alpine skiing icon.

This sporting event will leave a mark beyond the single competitions, thanks also to FS Group’s commitment as Mobility Premium Partner. The areas involved will benefit from an infrastructural and social legacy, with ten stations being updated to modern standards. On competition days, an integrated mobility system will be in place to promote the use of public transportation and ensure accessibility, as explained by Giuseppe Inchingolo, FS Italiane’s Chief Corporate Affairs, Communication & Sustainability Officer.

In the month of Valentine's Day, the magazine features two romantic itineraries, off the beaten track, in Rome and Milan, with strolls in the countryside, scenic views and artistic treasures. Then, we head to Turin, for a walk through historical cafés and gourmet chocolate, followed by the discovery of the myths and legends lingering on the Italian mountains.

Don’t miss the interviews with leading personalities in entertainment and culture. In the run-up to the 76th Sanremo Music Festival - broadcast between 24 and 28 February - indie pop queen Ditonellapiaga talks about her comeback to the Ariston theatre, while Nicola Savino, host of the Dopofestival, entices us with the promise of laughter, confessions and uncomfortable questions.

There’s also room for Director Gabriele Muccino, in cinemas with Le cose non dette and in theatres with A casa tutti bene, journalist Aldo Cazzullo with his latest book on St Francis of Assisi, and Topo Gigio, starring in his own theatre show.

And on an end note, the cultural events. In Florence, Toulouse-Lautrec. Un viaggio nella Parigi della Belle Époque  (Toulouse-Lautrec. A journey through Belle Époque Paris) guides visitors to understand the artist's languages and visions. In Rome, an exhibit celebrates Franco Battiato, while the works of illustrator Andrea Pazienza are revisited at MAXXI L’Aquila.

All this and more in February’s La Freccia, available in digital format on FS Italiane and as take-away print magazine on Trenitalia's Frecce trains, in the FRECCIALounges and FRECCIAClubs.
