La Freccia gets a makeover: new graphics, style and columns. On the cover, Carolina Crescentini

The actress will star in Mrs Playmen, a new series presented at the Rome Film Fest. More modern and appealing design inspired by digital languages

Rome, 6 October 2025

La Freccia gets a makeover. Starting with the October issue, FS Italiane’s monthly magazine will undergo a graphic and content restyling, to achieve a more modern design, inspired by digital languages, and four new columns that make the reading experience even richer, with light features, fun facts and the latest news.

On the cover, Carolina Crescentini, star of Mrs Playmen, a new mini-series presented at the Rome Film Fest (15-26 October), talks about her new role and the take on the female condition that goes with it. FS Italiane Group is one of the event’s official sponsors, and presents the documentary Andata e Ritorno (hors concours, on 22 October): a journey through stations and trains as stages for humanity and everyday stories.

The magazine's new featured columns include Un treno per le stelle, the horoscope by astrologer Luigi Torres Cerciello. In valigia, fashion advice from stylist Susanna Ausoni. Beauty case, with beauty trends as told by content creator Luca Buttiglieri. La Freccia di Cupido, the advice column by Cristiano Malgioglio, who replies to readers’ letters addressed to cupido@lafrecciamag.it every month.

The new course of the magazine treads on FS Group's path of editorial renewal, to offer travellers an increasingly compelling reading experience between travel, culture and books.

One of the magazine’s focuses in travel, with a dedicated section, ranging from Italian film sets tours, to truffle and wine tasting trails in the Caserta area. And in culture pages, interviews with Ester Pantano (Màkari), Ilaria Spada (Paolo Virzì's Cinque Secondi) and Agnese Pini, author of the book La verità è un fuoco. Riccardo Cardani, Paralympic snowboard athlete on his way to Milano-Cortina 2026, is one of the guests featured in this month’s issue.

All this and more in October’s La Freccia, available in digital format on FS Italiane, and in take-away print magazine on Trenitalia Frecce trains, in the FRECCIALounge and in FRECCIAClubs. The first step in FS Italiane magazine's journey of change will unfold in the coming issues, with more surprises.
