Rome, 2 July 2025

Back from the success of Affari tuoi, Stefano De Martino returns to the stage from 15 July with the summer tour of his theatre show Meglio stasera!, to share his feelings directly with the public, while waiting to be the helmsman of the parcel game again in September. After his début in 2009 in Amici di Maria De Filippi, the showman has collected many successes, without straying from his original vocation: to be among the people, to be empathic and to mix with humanity.

Similarly, the people who build, design and make Italy move every day, are at the centre of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane’s new commercial, on air from the end of June on TV, in cinemas and on the Group's social media channels. The story conveys an authentic image of Ferrovie: not just a company, but a living, breathing part of national history, renewed every day in the active construction sites, in the lines that unite territories, in the infrastructure synonymous with opportunities.

July's La Freccia takes readers afoot Mont Blanc - in Valsesia, near Vercelli - to enjoy nature hikes and visits the Walser villages, frozen in time. And in Cilento, with FRECCIALink, among Blue Flag beaches and seaside villages far from mass tourism. Then, we will move to Sessa Aurunca, in the province of Caserta, to discover archaeological sites and traditional events.

There is no shortage of interviews with show business and culture protagonists: director Maura Delpero, the first woman to win the David di Donatello Award for Best Director with the film Vermiglio, writer Chiara Francini, in bookshops with her latest novel Le querce non fanno limoni, and actor Edoardo Pesce, in the cast of Unicorni, in theatres from 18 July. And, again, singer-songwriter Sal Da Vinci, who is leaving for his summer tour, and Federica Gentile, with her spaces inside Camper and Unomattina Weekly, waiting to resume Playlist in September.

And on an end note, the cultural events. An exhibition in Naples connects Mimmo Jodice's photographs with Giorgio de Chirico's paintings. In Padua, Vivian Maier's shots tell the story of life in the United States in the 20th century. While in Brescia, over 90 images by Joel Meyerowitz bear witness to the great social changes of the last 60 years. And then, the summer playbills of Italy's oldest open-air theatres, including operas, Greek tragedies, classical dance and contemporary comedies.

All this and more in July’s La Freccia, available in digital format on FS Italiane, and in take-away print magazine on Trenitalia Frecce trains, in the FRECCIALounge and in FRECCIAClubs.
