Rome, 14 April 2026
FS Group is back for Race for the Cure 2026, the largest event promoted by Komen Italia to fight breast cancer in Italy and worldwide.
Focusing on sport, health and solidarity, the initiative raises awareness of the importance of prevention and research, and supports 56K women in pink in Italy who face this disease every year.
FS Group has been supporting this iconic solidarity event for over 10 years, taking place under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic, and featuring the classic 2 km walk and a 5 km run, open to everyone, and a 10 km run for competitive athletes only.
This year too, the Group’s women and men will be an active and heartfelt part of the travelling charity race, contributing to fund-raising, with a presence that is confirmed as one of the most numerous. Furthermore, for this year’s edition, FS Group will be the National Online Registration Partner.
“By supporting the Race for the Cure – said Giuseppe Inchingolo, Chief Corporate Affairs, Communication & Sustainability Officer at FS Group – we renew our commitment to protecting health and promoting a culture of prevention, in a tangible way. We are proud to be once again partners of this amazing initiative, which combines sport, charity and research, and has such a positive impact on local communities. Our people are directly involved in the event, showing just how strongly and intrinsically committed we are to achieving meaningful social goals, in line with the principles that guide our day-to-day work”.
Race for the Cure 2026 will kick off in Rome (7–10 May) at the Circus Maximus, as usual, and then move on to Bari (15–17 May), and then Bologna (18–20 September). At the end of September, the race will take place in Brescia and Matera on the same dates (25–27 September), and in October it will reach Naples (9–11 October) and finally Pescara (16–18 October).
By supporting Race for the Cure, FS Italiane confirms its commitment to important events that focus on prevention, solidarity and good lifestyles, a virtuous example of how companies can contribute positively to health care and the fight against breast cancer in Italy and around the world.
