The FrecciaRosa month comes to a close, after reaching over 46 million passengers on board Trenitalia’s (FS Group) Frecce, Intercity and Regionale, trains.
The 15th edition of the awareness-raising campaign promoted by Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane and Fondazione IncontraDonna provided more than 1,500 health screening and vaccination services, with 400 of them performed at FS Logistix’s premises, in Scalo San Lorenzo. 46 trains and 115 doctors and volunteers were involved in the initiative, more than 15,000 copies of the “Health Vademecum” were distributed, and 7,500 digital consultation were offered.
The event, which has become a moment of great social and health value over time, is supported by the Ministry of Health and the Prime Minister's Office and, for the third year running, has been awarded the prestigious Medal of the President of the Republic.
One of the additions to the 2025 edition was the campaign’s claim, “Prevention has been travelling with us, for over 15 years”, underlining the continuity and solidity of a commitment that accompanies millions of citizens every year, its revamped logo, featuring a modern, inclusive, visible and effective design, and the new frecciarosa.it website.
This year, FrecciaRosa partnered up also with the FIGC - Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (Italian Football Federation) and the Italian Rugby Federation, which supported the initiative by spreading prevention and awareness messages.
In addition, Fondazione IncontraDonna allocated a concrete contribution to a breast cancer research project, broadening its scientific scope and further strengthening its social value.
