Ciampino-Capannelle track-quadrupling

The project includes a quadrupling between Capannelle and Ciampino, with an extension of about 6 kilometres alongside the existing line. Also planned is an upgrade to the Ciampino station and the Capannelle stop, with an improvement of the service functions of the stop (with an interchange car park) together with the surrounding road system via an upgrade of the Via di Capannelle subway.

Vincenzo Macello was appointed Extraordinary Governmental Commissioner for completion of the works.
