Coinciding with the launch of the nugo app, Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane presents nugo magazine, the Group’s first digital magazine with travel at its core. Developed using a mobile first approach to adapt to all types of smartphones and tablets, the magazine combines a fresh and striking photographic style with an extremely simple and intuitive navigation, designed to be used on the move.

The Homepage is built like a wall full of captivating images that capture the user's attention, referring the reader to editorials, exclusive content, interviews, audio content - Earispiration - and videos - V-ideas, that can be shared on major social networks. Scrolling through the different layouts, one can discover services and other curiosities. Exhibitions, concerts, shows, enogastronomy, tourism, mobility, and environment: there are numerous travel variations suggested in this new editorial project.

Going from a travel idea to planning and purchasing is really easy. Access nugo by clicking on the "Plan your trip" button. The app, which can be downloaded from the Android and IOS stores, allows you to buy integrated travel solutions in just a few clicks, with a single ticket, choosing between different modes of transport: train, metro, bus, ferry, car and bike sharing, and taxi (you can even reserve a parking spot at the railway station).

The goal of nugo is, in fact, to reduce the use of private cars to reach travel destinations - whether for work, leisure, or tourism - favouring different means of transport instead, and sharing modal integration.
