The cascading strategy of the 2022–2031 Business Plan resumes in Italy, following the September event in Berlin.
The stop on 19 October at the former Santa Lucia depot in Verona was dedicated to the employees of the newly-founded Logistics Hub, created to strengthen the FS Group’s role as a multimodal system operator through sustainable and integrated logistics services.
FS Group Chair Nicoletta Giadrossi opened the morning meeting. Taking to the stage to talk about the role of the new Business Hubs were RFI CEO Vera Fiorani for the Infrastructure Hub, Trenitalia CEO Luigi Corradi for the Passenger Hub, Mercitalia Logistics CEO Gianpiero Strisciuglio for the Logistics Hub and FS Sistemi Urbani CEO Umberto Lebruto for the Urban Hub.
CEO of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane, Luigi Ferraris, concluded the meeting by reviewing the new governance structure and confirming the importance of synergy between the Hubs in moving towards the shared objectives.
